BDO celebrates 30 years in the Czech Republic

6 February 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of BDO's incorporation in the Commercial Register of the then Czechoslovak Federal Republic. A lot has changed since then, both in terms of the business environment and the market, the huge advances in technology and digitalisation, but also within the company itself, which over time has evolved, grown and joined forces with a number of other successful companies and professionals. Throughout its existence it has managed to preserve and cherish the most important things and is building its future on them: its professional values, human face and healthy, open corporate culture.

This anniversary is an opportunity for us to reflect on the present and on the vision that will guide us going forward.

The anniversary is not just about the company as such. It's about the people, the clients and their stories. And we live those stories.

So over the course of the year, we will share the most interesting ones with you, enriching them with our insights and experiences and providing recommendations or inspiration that can help you on your way to success.

Celebration of 30 years

A meeting between Miroslav Jandečka, Managing Partner, and Petr Slavíček, Chairman, and two of the three founders of BDO in the Czech Republic, Vlastimil Hokr and Jiří Czaban.

During the discussion about the origins, development and today's company, they clearly agreed that success was, is and will be all about people, mutual respect, cooperation and support for their development.

Miroslav Jandečka says: "Modern technology will gradually replace automated tasks, but not without deep human relationships and trust."

Meeting with the founders

"After a pleasant discussion with the founders we met last week, we clearly agree that success was, is and will be all about people, mutual respect, cooperation and support for their development. Modern technology will gradually replace automated tasks, but not without deep human relationships and trust."
