Activity in the mergers and acquisitions market fell sharply last year during COVID-19, with Q2 being particularly noticeable. Slight signs of recovery were already visible in Q3, and at the turn of the year 2020/21, we saw markedly increased activity, which should result in a relatively strong year in terms of the number of transactions.
