How does the Audit Confirmation Assistant work?
Simple web interface
You log in using your BDO account, create an engagement and add team members. Everything runs in the browser—no installation required.
Engagement management and team collaboration
Each team member has clearly defined access. You can assign roles (owner, editor), set notifications and see who is responsible for what at any time.
Automated sending and reminders
Confirmations are sent in just a few clicks. You can set automatic reminders (e.g. after three days without a response), which the system sends until a reply is received.
Data and attachment import
Confirmation templates can be easily uploaded from Excel, including attachments (such as balances or invoices) and language versions for foreign counterparties.
AI-based response evaluation
Responses from counterparties are automatically analysed. The system identifies whether they agree, disagree or whether further action is required.
OCR reading of attachments
If a counterparty responds with an image or PDF, the system reads the amounts and compares them with expected values.
Audit trail and history
Every change, deletion or modification is logged. You always have a clear record of who did what and why.
Evidence export
At the end of the engagement, you can download a complete folder containing confirmations, responses, attachments and the audit trail—ready for APT or inspection.
