EURO-Trend Audit has become part of BDO

EURO-Trend Audit, a company founded by a prominent figure in Czech accounting, Ing. Petr Ryneš, has been operating on the market since 1999 and focuses primarily on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with Czech and international accounting standards, public interest entities, consolidated financial statements, special audit reports for the needs of banks, state authorities, or other entities, as well as business consulting during reorganizations.

On July 23, 2025, the company became part of BDO and changed its name to BDO EURO-Trend Audit, a.s.

Michal Šindelář has taken over as Chairman of the Board of Directors from Petr Ryneš, the company's founder, who made a significant contribution to its professional direction and standards. His goal is to maintain the continuity of the values on which the company was built and to further develop the quality of audit services under the BDO brand. 

Petr Ryneš will continue to provide support for the company's development, while also supporting the audit team and lecturing, particularly in the area of accounting legislation and methodology.

The other members of the board of directors are: Miroslav Jandečka and Jiří Liberda.

Michal Šindelář

Ing. Michal Šindelář, Ph.D.

Auditor registered with the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic.

  • Member of the Chamber of Certified Accountants (Level 1 certification).
  • Graduate of the master's and doctoral study program in Accounting and Financial Management at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of the University of Economics in Prague, where he currently works as an assistant professor.
  • During his studies and shortly after graduation, he gained experience in accounting and currently has several years of work experience in auditing. He has experience auditing companies operating in various fields, including trade, services, manufacturing, and investment funds.
  • His scientific and pedagogical activities focus primarily on the quality of auditing services provided in the Czech Republic and the relationship between commercial law, accounting, and tax regulations.
  • He also lectures for the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic, the Certification Institute of the Union of Accountants, the Chamber of Certified Accountants, and other professional institutions and universities.
  • He is the author of several professional publications in the field of accounting, taxation, and auditing.
  • He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic and its expert committees – the Audit Methodology Committee, the Audit Examination Committee, and the Editorial Board of the Auditor and Auditing magazines.
  • He has been working at BDO EURO-Trend Audit, a.s. since 2015.
