Tomáš Brabenec is a graduate of the University of Economics, Prague. He continued with postgraduate work in Corporate Finance and Appraisal at the same university, where he now teaches as well as lecturing at ČVUT.
He chairs the thesis/dissertation committees for a number of students at the Appraisal Institute of the University of Economics, Prague and the examinations for the Certification Institute of the University of Economics, Prague. Tomas is a member of the American Society of Appraisers. In the company Appraisal services - Znalecký ústav s.r.o. he is an Expert Institute partner.
His specialization is mainly business valuation and transfer pricing. Tomáš is a licensed appraiser for determining the value of financial assets, companies, movable and immovable goods, while his major specialization is determing the common prices between related parties.
Among his other professional activities belongs the presidency in the Center for Transfer Prices Research. He has published in the magazines Acta Oeconomica Pragensia, Daně a finance, Oceňování, and also the magazines Lobby, Moderní obec and regularly contributes to the financial newspaper E15 and the quarterly Czech Business Forum.
He is fluent in Czech and English.
